In 1986 Carlets Torrent arrived in Palafrugell, the participation of a summer in Japan marks his work where he began to incorporate soluble salts in pasta or engalba on pieces always turned and sometimes manipulated. Later he carried out a collaborative work with the sculptor Josep Canals (the balls of Josep and Carlets).
In 2002, a change in his work began, the pieces ceased to be physical “objects” giving way to a work marked by the concept, more intimate and minimalist.
Fire and cooking are his passion. In 2005 he formed the group Factoria de Núvols with other potters dedicating himself to fire actions.
